Honeysuckle Hill

So last Saturday, we went to a pumpkin patch as a family event with the church. It was called Honeysuckle Hill. It was the cutest pumpkin patch! It had so many things to do for the kids (And for the adults I might add)! We had a great time just being with the people doing something fun. I have a lot of pictures to share, but that's the fun part of this whole blogging thing right??!! :-)

Look at these HUGE pumpkins!
I thought these were pretty funny!
Welcome, the newest TN residents...The Toews Family!!
Told you they had stuff for the adults too! LOL
Larena, I know your love for frogs, so here you go. LOL.
Mike actually lasso'd a steer! :-D

They even had a milking parlor! This was Alex's favorite thing! Just for laughs...Alex and I were in the supermarket one day and he told me that he knew where milk came from, I said where? He said, it comes from cows. Then I proceeded to ask him how do you get the milk from the cows? And just to let you know, he has never seen the video of Kameron explaining how you milk cows! LOL...So, he said "You pull on all of their pink wieners" So, here's Alex milking a cow!
Here's a video of Alex telling Kameron what he was doing...He was being a little bit shy so you might want to turn up the volume.

Ok, so then, Mike had to give it a try!
I had to give you a close up of his face! I think it's hilarious! It looks like he got caught doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing!
Oh yeah, and we cannot forget Re-Re's favorite part of the whole thing....The Chickens! LOL. I'm serious though, I know it's been the "butt end" of all of our jokes, (her love for roosters) but she really couldn't wait to go see the chickens! Sorry Sheri, I had to! :-)
We had a great time! I am so looking forward to this next year as well! At dusk, we all met back at the bonfire pit, and we roasted hot dogs, and marshmallows, and had smore's! I came home smelling like campfire! MMMmmmmm! It was just a really great time of getting to fellowship and have fun with our people. And just like Sheri said, there was just one thing missing and that was the rest of our family...It's an annual thing for us to go to the pumpkin patch together, so we really missed you guys! It really wasn't the same.
Well, I know this was a VERY long post, but I guess I just made up for my slacking huh! :-)

Love ya'll!

Slacker!!!

Ok Ok I know, I'm a slacker...But my life isn't as busy and exciting as others. LOL. Not much has really gone on here. If you haven't already heard, I met Elvis! Thanks to my beautiful, charming, I am oh so gonna get her back sister in law Sheri! Ya, we got our picture taken together in Walmart. Yes, it's true, Elvis shops at Walmart! I copied this from Sheri's blog. Laugh all you want because it really was absolutely hilarious!

The way this whole thing happened was just too much! I laughed so hard my side hurt.

Anyway, that's about all the excitement I've had for a while. :-)
The weather is definitely changing here! Today is really COLD! So weird because yesterday, I was running the house fan because I was sweating, today, I'm bundled up w/all my windows closed! I love it though.

I'll be posting more maybe tomorrow or the next day, we have some fun stuff coming up!!

Love Ya'll! ;-)

Alex's 1st Field Trip!

So I was so blessed to have been able to go on Alex's first field trip! We went to the Symphony! I'm so bad, I don't even know where it was located, all I know is it was somewhere downtown, in a beautiful building! We were being rushed to get inside because they were about to start. I couldn't take pictures inside so sorry, no pictures of the place. But I got some stuff on the way there. It was also Alex's first bus ride! It was also a lot of the other Kindergarteners first time as well, needless to say, they all had fun, especially when the bus went over bumps or made turns, they would say Whhhooooaaa, and squeal and scream. It was pretty loud. So, here are some pictures and some videos of our bus ride....

Here's Alex telling you what we are doing. :-)

And here he is enjoying the bus ride (along with all the other kids, which you can hear!)

So I was soooooo tired after spending 4 hours with a bunch of Kindergarteners! I give props to those Kindergarten teachers out there! Whew! I came home and crashed for a couple hours! But before I did that, I got this little video...After we ate lunch at Alex's school, I just went ahead and brought him home with me, he was in the bathroom downstairs and I was sitting on the steps waiting for him...Just watch...

I cannot tell you how many times I've watched this video and I laugh so hard every time!
Ok, so that was our day yesterday! We had a great time! And I got a much needed nap after it all!
Love ya'll!

Goodbye's and Fun Stuff.

So, we've had quite a week! I'll just get right to it. We said good-bye to the Gannaways on Sunday.

This one was an all too familiar sight!
Aren't my 2 guys just so cute?
Ok, moving on...
Before we left for Nashville, Alex got blessed with a whole bunch of Thomas the Train stuff! Well, he and his daddy spent quite a while up in his room figuring out how to put it ALL together and this is the finished product!

This is with ALL the tracks and ALL the trains he has! It takes up a lot of space in his bedroom! He was so proud of it though!

Me and Alex were playing, he was getting on my feet and I was (trying to) have him fly like an airplane, you know that thing you do with your "little" kids, every time I would scream, it would make him laugh so hard! You can't really see the video, but just listen to his laugh, it reminds me of when he was younger...Very cute! :-)

Other than those 3 things, things have been pretty quite on the Anderson end...We did have a GREAT service on Sunday! I of course was in with the kids, and for the amount of kids I had, it was all so peaceful! They were all obedient, and minded very well! I was so proud of them all! I love them! :-)
So, there's our update! Love ya'll!

Bowling Nite and Alex's Video...

Hey ya'll! Yeah, here's another multi-subject post! :-)
We had a Family Bowling Night with the church, it was so much fun! I didn't get too many shots because well, I was too busy chatting and bowling! Afterwards was fun too, us and another couple were the last ones there, the guys were playing video games and us "moms" were watching the kids play on all the stuff! It was a lot of fun.
Uh-Oh, Mahala's got some competition! :-)

Today (Friday) Alex came home and put a hat on, and had a little medallion that had some stuff on it and he wanted me to video it while he said what was on it. (of course, I had to tell him what it said and he just repeated after me) It's kinda a long video, but it's still cute. :-) He obviously likes Transformers too if you can't tell.

Love ya'll! :-)

Guess What???

I found my cord!!!!!! Well, Mike found my cord!! Yay!!!! So, I had a TON of pictures that I had to download onto my computer, so I only chose a few. A lot has happened since I was last able to post posts with my pictures. So here's a quick re-cap:

Evelyn, Kristi, and Brooklin all came for a visit. This was after Me-Ma left tho.
We went to a Bridal Show...
Alex got to spend time with Brooklin...Saw some baby deer outside my back door...
I received my first permission slip to sign for Alex! :-(Alex found a girlfriend at school (not really, he already has an arranged marriage lol) Isn't she cute?
Missy got a bone. Found out this is what Mike and Alex do when they go out to storage!
Mike and Alex started a band.

Oh yeah, and Alex grew A LOT!
Lots going on...Gateway Life has entered a whole new realm! Exciting things are happening! We continue to see the church and the people grow..Although we have been faced with some unexpected changes God is continuing to bless this house. We are so excited with everything God is doing! Anyway, I'm back! So, you'll be hearing from me more often! Check back soon, we have a fun event Sunday evening! Love ya'll!
