Honeysuckle Hill

So last Saturday, we went to a pumpkin patch as a family event with the church. It was called Honeysuckle Hill. It was the cutest pumpkin patch! It had so many things to do for the kids (And for the adults I might add)! We had a great time just being with the people doing something fun. I have a lot of pictures to share, but that's the fun part of this whole blogging thing right??!! :-)

Look at these HUGE pumpkins!
I thought these were pretty funny!
Welcome, the newest TN residents...The Toews Family!!
Told you they had stuff for the adults too! LOL
Larena, I know your love for frogs, so here you go. LOL.
Mike actually lasso'd a steer! :-D

They even had a milking parlor! This was Alex's favorite thing! Just for laughs...Alex and I were in the supermarket one day and he told me that he knew where milk came from, I said where? He said, it comes from cows. Then I proceeded to ask him how do you get the milk from the cows? And just to let you know, he has never seen the video of Kameron explaining how you milk cows! LOL...So, he said "You pull on all of their pink wieners" So, here's Alex milking a cow!
Here's a video of Alex telling Kameron what he was doing...He was being a little bit shy so you might want to turn up the volume.

Ok, so then, Mike had to give it a try!
I had to give you a close up of his face! I think it's hilarious! It looks like he got caught doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing!
Oh yeah, and we cannot forget Re-Re's favorite part of the whole thing....The Chickens! LOL. I'm serious though, I know it's been the "butt end" of all of our jokes, (her love for roosters) but she really couldn't wait to go see the chickens! Sorry Sheri, I had to! :-)
We had a great time! I am so looking forward to this next year as well! At dusk, we all met back at the bonfire pit, and we roasted hot dogs, and marshmallows, and had smore's! I came home smelling like campfire! MMMmmmmm! It was just a really great time of getting to fellowship and have fun with our people. And just like Sheri said, there was just one thing missing and that was the rest of our family...It's an annual thing for us to go to the pumpkin patch together, so we really missed you guys! It really wasn't the same.
Well, I know this was a VERY long post, but I guess I just made up for my slacking huh! :-)

Love ya'll!

Ok I knew you had something on here about me and chickens and roosters! I just knew by the comment Larena left on my blog! Cute pictures of the roosters by the way!

Larena, yes this place was as big as it looks and probably bigger than what we could capture in pictures! You actually had to get on the hay ride and be driven out to the big cornfield maze. They have the Haunted Woods, which of course we didn't participate in, but it's big enough to have their own "woods". It was a great place to go.

Ang, I loved the video of Alex when at the end you said, "You're boring" and then Alex just said, "Yeah...." too cute!

Larena-You are so very welcome for your own little "shout out" there. haha. And yes, I agree with Sheri when I say it was bigger than what we could capture...We didn't even get to see everything!

T-I ditto what Sheri commented back to you on her blog. God has a plan for us all. I truly believe it's not His plan to keep us all apart. And yes, I absolutely think you should post Kameron's description of how you are supposed to milk a cow! LOL!

Sheri-I couldn't pass it up! I think it's cute. And no Larena, her house isn't filled with Rooster stuff, she has a few, but she accumulated them since we've been here, and the roosters she has are not "country" looking. :-)
