So, here's the thing that made me happy recently....
Yes, that's right, it's a bug! BUT it's no ordinary bug! It's a 
LIGHTNING BUG!
LIGHTNING BUG!I've been waiting to see one of these since I got here! I know, it's not lit up, but it's actually really hard to take a picture of these quick little boogers. They flash so fast! Mike actually caught this one in the front of our house and let it loose in the house! Weirdo. LOL. I love watching them outside though!
Here's what made Mike happy recently...
These were taken in Manchester, TN. He was going to a site for his work and came across these beautiful sites!
And here is what had made our little Alex happy recently...
His new bed set 
His new lamp...Mater like TaMater, without the Ta! His new table! 
And yes, a new hamper!He was SOOOO excited when we got this stuff! He kept saying thank you to us and telling us how much he loved us and was hugging our legs like crazy! People were actually turning around looking at us because of how excited he was! It was so cute! We are still going to be getting him some more stuff to finish up his room, but this will do for now!
Well, that's it for now! I'll be posting more soon! I'm gonna keep trying to get a picture of a lightning bug lit up, and when I do, you'll be the first to see it!! Ok, well, maybe not the first, but definitely soon after I get it uploaded!

Wow Ang, great post! You're really getting this blogging thing aren't you. I love the pictures Mike took and little Alex's stuff for his room. How cute! I know you're all having fun right now!!!! I'm sure you'll share with everyone tomorrow so I won't spoil the surprise! Love ya.

Wyatt loves Alex's room! I showed it to him and he said "whoa!" Wyatt's favorite thing right now is Cars too. We're on a mission to get all of them.
