Finally...An Update!

So, I know it's been 2 weeks since our last post, but for some reason I can't seem to find my connector to connect my camera to the computer (what's it called? I forget) LOL. So, for one thing, on the 11th of this month (August) we moved from the G-H-E-T-T-O to Bellevue. Finally! For those who might not know why we were in the Ghetto, it was becuase we found it online and considering we were not able to go look at it from California, the place looked really nice. Ya right! No, really, it wasn't all that bad. Anyways, now we are in Bellevue, and we moved into a much bigger place! Actually, it's bigger than any other place we've lived in. We actually really love it here! It's really nice. So, here are some pictures that I got from Sheri.

We are on the right.

Welcoming our first guests to our new home.

Our house is 3 stories, on the bottom level we have a deck outside, and it backs up to the woods.

This is standing on our deck looking to the right.

So, there's just a little glimpse of our new place. It actually feels more like home here than in any other home we've lived in. It's great. Just wait till I'm able to upload my pictures, I'll show you what I saw right outside my window. It's amazing! :-) To me anyways! So, that's all for now. I'll post more as soon as I can....I have some videos to share too! (*hint hint* You're just a bitty) lol. Just kidding Sheri, I won't. :-) Or will I? LOL.

First Day of School!

Well, that dreaded day arrived.....Alex's first day of Kindergarten! What a day! He did so good! I actually did very very well, I'm pretty pleased with myself! :-) I got teary eyed when he was putting his backpack on the little hook. I still really can't believe that my baby is a Kindergartener!

His School...Thank God he got into this one, we are actually zoned for a different school which is a very run down school. I had to put in a special transfer for him to go to this one! We had favor!
Ok...Here we go!
Daddy had to tighten his backpack.
We are so proud of our big boy! This kid loves computers! He asked the teacher if they could play PBSkids dot ordHis little cubbyHe's such a big boy! Showing his dad their computers
This is where I teared up. :*(His name card at his desk.
All the kids had Play-Doh, and he wanted some...Give that baby some Play-Doh teacher!

Ooops, how did that get here! Guess I had a little too much "fun" on the 1st day of school!
Here's when we went to pick him UP from school!

We waited 45 minutes! School traffic sucks! Here he comes!
YAY! We made it thru his first day!!

What an event! Now, let me just tell you, NO it is not normal for 4 people to go with one student all the way to class and stay there forever taking pictures! But we had to cuz well, it's our little Alca Buns! I didn't see any other parents taking pictures of their kids! Thanks Re-Re and Ashley for coming with us and taking the pictures!

Well, that's it for now! I have some other stuff that I have to post so check back soon!

Congratulations Michael!!

Mike has been with his company for less than 5 months and God has really placed favor on him since he's been there! He works for a door installation company and was initially hired on as their delivery driver. He was told he would be getting paid a certain amount but when he got his first check, come to find out, they were paying him what he initially asked for! Which was a pretty significant difference! Praise God! He was doing deliveries for about 3 1/2 months when they started talking about placing him in installs. Well, he moved to installs about 3 weeks ago, and he's been loving every minute of it! He's never really done installs before, but he apparently ROCKS it! So, yesterday, his boss wanted to talk to him....About a Promotion!!!! As of yesterday, Michael is the Lead Installation Technician!!! And he's getting paid as such! Which is a substantial raise!
Congratulations Mike!! I am SOOOO proud of you!
We give all the glory to God for this! He is so faithful to his Word! It just goes to show you that when you follow His voice, He will fulfill His promises! He will take care of you. We are so excited with what He is doing in our lives! He is definitely GOOD! :-)

6 Days 18.5 Hours...

6 Days 18.5 hours till we officially say goodbye to our "little" boy and say hello to our BIG kindergartener! I just really can't believe it to be honest with you! I've been home with him for all but 9 months of his life! What am I going to do????? Separation Anxiety here I come! LOL. Just kidding....Well, kinda....I'm gonna need to keep myself busy I think. HaHa. It's going to be like a whole new life for us! Taking him and picking him up everyday, helping him with his homework, open houses, parent/teacher meetings, Oh Lord help me! LOL! Anyways...It was just on my mind. :-)
